Our History
Our journey began when founding directors Wayne and Michelle Harrex returned from over 10 years in the Australian Mining Industry, where they had spent five years as partners in the successful Electrical Contracting Company “Sinewave Electrical”.
Wayne then spent two years working in switch yard construction and maintenance in the lower South Island.
The opportunity to work with ABB on the Clutha Hydro Controls System Upgrade Project led to the formation of our company, "Industrial Network Services Ltd". The business grew into a thriving Electrical Contracting operation, and in 2015, we decided to join the Laser Group, trading as “Laser Electrical Alexandra”.
Since joining the Laser Group we have continued to work on many projects in the Hydro Electric Industrial sector for both Meridian and Contact Energy while also completing many commercial, residential and service jobs closer to home.
